Drive past moor landscapes, lakes and forests to arrive at the Sole Felsen Welt in Gmünd. Because the journey is just as important as the destination, which is an idyllic resort in our case.
By train:
Plan your trip with the ÖBB (Type in "Sole Felsen Bad")
Buses leaving from the Gmünd train station go directly to the Sole Felsen Welt Resort. They run on a regular basis. We are also happy to pick up our hotel guests from the train station. Please call +43 (0) 2852/20 20 30 to arrange the pick-up.
Walkway
You don't want to wait for the next bus after arriving at the train station in Gmünd? No problem, because the footpath from Gmünd station to Sole Felsen Welt is suitable for everyone! Walk north from Gmünd station to Conrathstraße, cross the level crossing and turn left. Follow the road and when you come to the traffic circles, always take the opposite exit. After about 600m you will see the Sole Felsen Welt Resort on your right. The walk takes about 20 minutes, is 1.3 km long and takes you through the picturesque landscape of the Waldviertel and part of the town of Gmünd.

Charging Station for Electric Cars
If you are travelling by electric car, you can charge your battery directly in the Sole Felsen Welt parking lot. Two charging stations provided by the company Ella (a subsidiary of WEB Windenergie) have four outlets with a charging capacity of 11 kW each. For 100 km of driving, it takes approximately 90 minutes to charge the car.
