Travel Insurance & Cancellation Policy
Relax on the side of caution: if something unexpected comes up, we recommend booking travel insurance.
By booking a stay at the Sole Felsen Welt, we enter into an "accommodation contract" together.
If you are unable to come after having made a reservation, travel insurance that covers cancellations is a good idea. If you have to cancel your reservation within one month before arrival, here are the advantages of having travel insurance:
In many cases, especially in the event of an illness, your insurance will pay the cancellation fees. Check your policy for more information about what is covered under your travel insurance.
-Hotel Obligations Towards the Guest: The Hotel will reserve the room you have requested for the period of time you have requested. -Guest Obligations Towards the Hotel: By making a reservation, the Guest agrees to "buy" a room from the Hotel. In the event of a cancellation, it is usually impossible to "resell" the room. In this scenario, the Hotel suffers financially.
To avoid any unpleasant situations we offer a special service to our guests: In cooperation with Europäische Reiseversicherung, we offer our guests travel insurance. If you would like to book this insurance with us, please let us know when you make your reservation. We will need the names of all travellers and a full address.
Of course you also have the option of booking another form of travel insurance.
Cancellation
Sole Felsen Welt soft cancellation campaign for flexible vacation planning
So that you can plan your vacation carefree and flexibly, we have adapted our cancellation conditions for you: In the event of illness or travel restrictions at the time of your arrival due to the virus, we will convert your booked stay or your deposit - upon presentation of a doctor's certificate - into a voucher that can be redeemed at a new desired date by the end of 2021.
Our cancellation fees are based on the General Terms and Conditions of the Hotel Industry (as of 15.11.2006). The following cancellation fees apply:
- 1 month to 10 days before arrival - 50% of the booking price,
- 9 - 4 days before arrival - 70% of the booking price,
- 3-1 day before arrival - 90% of the booking price,
- on the day of arrival and in the event of NO ARRIVAL - 100% of the booking price.
Possible extensions or maintenance-related construction or renovation work in individual areas of the Sole Felsen Welt do not entitle guests to any price reduction.
This is why we recommend travel insurance offered by Europäische Reiseversicherung.
